Since you guys are following my random comments tumblr, I’m going to share a failed post in the hopes that you might find it useful yourself.
I was actually looking at the TSA site to see if I could find employment numbers. They grew faster than any other government agency, which puts some strain on the credibility of the idea that these are all “well trained, dedicated professionals.” You just can’t grow an organization this fast and guarantee only good eggs (recall that they don’t always treat each other professionally).
I eventually found the hiring and training information I was looking for. First, however, I found this, from 2007. It seems the TSA can’t be trusted to keep their own employees’ data secure.
And now I don’t feel like making my original post.
