Why does engineering/math/science education in the US suck?
I think this could be applied to almost all kinds of education worldwide
I disagree. “Gaming the system” is necessary. How many people fail because they aren’t a “team player” or some other bullshit not related to their actual task at hand? That’s the system. Learn to game it or get left behind by those that can. On the other hand, I’m not sure it belongs in the “What we teach” set. You’ve got to pick that one up on your own, it seems.
